Recently, Mr. Zhang Wu, Chairman of Air Guard Purification Technology Group, along with his delegation, was invited by Professor Liu Kaihui, Head of the Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory, Professor at Peking University, Director of the Institute of Condensed Matter Physics, and recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, to visit and exchange ideas at the Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory. This visit laid a solid foundation for further deepening the integration of “industry, academia, research, and application” in collaborative innovation, and promoting the industrial application of cutting-edge material technologies in the field of air purification and filtration.
Master Materials, Master the Future

During the exhibition hall tour, Mr. Liu Lei from the Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory provided a systematic introduction to the laboratory’s groundbreaking achievements in information materials, energy materials, precision instruments, and other fields. These included innovative technologies in the environmental protection industry such as nanofiber filter membranes and ceramic filter elements. These achievements not only reflect the laboratory’s profound expertise in material science but also demonstrate its practical capabilities in driving industrial upgrading.

In the laboratory inspection segment, Dr. Tian Enze, Associate Researcher at the Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory, detailed the laboratory’s newly developed antibacterial and antiviral materials, as well as high-efficiency, low-resistance air filtration materials. These technological achievements, which combine environmental performance with industrial potential, complement Air Guard’s engineering application capabilities in the air purification and filtration sector. The laboratory supports core material R&D for air purification and filtration products in scenarios such as car cabins and industrial environments through advanced material research. Meanwhile, Air Guard’s mature industrial validation system can effectively shorten the transformation process of new materials from basic research to industrial application.

During the symposium, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on the “collaborative path for material innovation and industrial application.” Professor Liu Kaihui systematically introduced the laboratory’s existing technological reserves and transformation mechanisms, while the Air Guard team proposed specific needs such as material performance optimization based on industry pain points. The two sides explored topics including “co-building a new material environmental application validation platform,” “conducting targeted technological research,” and “establishing a dedicated task force to advance the transformation of new material basic research into the air purification and filtration industry.”

It is worth noting that Professor Liu Kaihui was recently honored with the title of “Annual Science and Technology Innovation Figure” by Guancha.cn. Other awardees included Liang Wenfeng, founder of DeepSeek; Wang Xingxing, founder of Unitree Robotics; and Feng Ji, founder of Game Science. As an authoritative expert in material science, Professor Liu Kaihui’s team’s breakthrough in the universal preparation technology of two-dimensional quantum materials provides significant technical support for the application of new materials in the environmental protection industry.
Coinciding with the successful convening of the National Two Sessions, the collaboration between Air Guard Purification Technology Group and the Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory is anchored in the deep integration of “industry, academia, research, and application.” Through the precise alignment of material science with industrial needs, the partnership aims to drive the upgrading of environmental protection technologies. Moving forward, Air Guard will adhere to the working philosophy of “promoting development, strengthening responsibility, and implementing actions,” continuously connecting with top-tier scientific research resources. By empowering the upgrading of environmental protection equipment through material innovation, Air Guard will actively respond to the national policy direction of “using new quality productivity to promote high-quality development,” injecting innovative momentum into the green chapter of Chinese modernization.
